While it's up in the air whether or not Dr. Christine Blasey Ford will testify about her allegations that Brett Kavanaugh sexually assaulted her in high school.

While Senators make sure to do as little as possible into finding out the truth, a congressmen makes a joke about sexual assault.

While the the Washington Post's Josh Dawsey reported that Bill Shine was helping prep Brett Kavanaugh for testifying about being accused for sexual assault:

Bill Shine is a White House communications director, but the obvious lack of due process isn't even the most flabbergasting aspect as to why Bill Shine would be helping judge Kavanaugh. Bill Shine was an executive at Fox News when the company was tried to cover-up abuse and assault at the company.

Shine helping Kavanaugh about sexual assault and harassment would be a scandal in normal times, never mind the fact that Shine works for the president. But we don't live in rational times.

While Kavanaugh's accuser turns on the television and gets to watch Tucker Carlson tell her how to do handle being sexually assaulted.

While Kavanaugh's accuser has to deal with death threats.

Supposed pro-choice Republican Susan Collins tweeted not about what Republicans or the White House are doing or saying but to tweet:

Instead of remembering what it was like for Anita Hill, and how tough it was to publicly testify. Susan Collins went the other way, and if you needed any other proof as to whether or not she would vote for Brett Kavanaugh.

Best selling author Stephen King, and a fellow citizen with Susan Collins of the state Maine, went to Twitter to let the world know how he feels about Susan Collins voting for Brett Kavanaugh:

If the most popular person from Maine is warning you Susan. Just imagine what the women of Maine will think about you Susan Collins?
